If you’re up for it, get a head start on your day by hiking up a hill in the early morning to catch a view of the sun rising above Lake Bled. After breakfast, pack your skis and head out for a bit of cross-country skiing. You’ll drive up to the Pokljuka plateau, an expansive area filled with pine forests. In its midst is a sports center, where Biathlon World Cup takes place each year. Whether you’re an experienced skier or just beginning, there’s something out here for everyone!
After returning back to Bled, you can opt for some more sightseeing of the lake surroundings, like the Bled Castle.
