Bled is on the doorstep of the Julian Alps, the biggest and most iconic mountain range in Slovenia. Going on a guided hike in its winter wonderland will surely be a delight. Your guide will adjust the hike to the weather conditions and your capabilities, whether you are an expert hiker or a novice. You might be able to even hike to an iconic Triglav viewpoint.

If you’re up for it, get a head start on your day by hiking up a hill in the early morning to catch a view of the sun rising above Lake Bled. After breakfast, pack your skis and head out for a bit of cross-country skiing. You’ll drive up to the Pokljuka plateau, an expansive area filled with pine forests. In its midst is a sports center, where Biathlon World Cup takes place each year. Whether you’re an experienced skier or just beginning, there’s something out here for everyone!
After returning back to Bled, you can opt for some more sightseeing of the lake surroundings, like the Bled Castle.

Snowshoeing is a unique experience that allows you to move anywhere on the snow without needing to make trails, and it feels like you’re floating. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to try something new, and it’s easy and suitable for anyone.
Your guide will take you up to the trails near Vogel Ski Resort via a cable car ride. There, you will explore the snowy trails with a magnificent bird’s eye view of Lake Bohinj and a panoramic vista of the Julian Alps.

On the fifth day we move to Kranjska Gora in the far northwest of the country — the most popular winter resort in Slovenia. Spend a relaxing first part of the day and visit the authentic Alpine village in the town’s center or just enjoy the mountain vista encircling the lowlands. In the afternoon a unique adventure awaits you — dog sledding!

This day is full of different options you can choose from. If you already had an eye on the white slopes above Kranjska Gora the previous day, you should go skiing here. This resort is one of the most popular in Slovenia and an annual host of the Alpine Skiing World Cup.
Besides that, you can also hike to the shimmering Lake Jasna or hit the ice-skating rink in the town. Or if you feel very adventurous and the weather conditions permit it, you can try ice climbing on a nearby frozen waterfall.

No, accommodation is included in all of our tours except for the Slovenia Family Activity Holiday. Even in that case, we can assist you with finding a place to stay.

Yes, we welcome solo travelers on our adventure holidays. However, please be aware that there is a surcharge for single use of a room. Additionally, our small group holidays only depart with a minimum of 4 people. Yes, we provide all of the necessary equipment for the activities on our adventure holidays. This includes things like helmets, harnesses, and other safety gear, as well as any specialized equipment that may be required for a particular activity. However, we do need to get your measurements before you arrive to provide the proper fitting gear. We promise we aren’t being nosy, it’s just for your safety and comfort!
We recommend that you bring a swimsuit and towels for any water activities, as well as comfortable shoes that you can move easily in for hiking and cycling. You should also bring comfortable clothes that are appropriate for the activities you will be participating in.
